Ft. Danilo Orofino

This Mini Doc Film will introduce and connect us to talented Chef/Owner Danilo Orofino.

The Story

Danilo’s philosophy of food and authenticity has created a very successful restaurant.

This documentary will focus on the hard beginning stages of building a restaurant and a family. How he felt when his first kid was born and became a father. The philosophy of food and how he approaches different recipes. And finally an ending point or connection with the audience as a father and entrepreneur.

The Cinematography

The tone and feeling of the film will be a moody, contrasty, warm yet euphoric with stunning visuals to help elevate the dialogue of the interviewee. Unique camera angles to help attract the audience.

This project will include 2 Cameras with 2 angles. Angle A will be more of a wide angle. Introducing the space the interviewee is at. Angle B will feel more intimate, to feel the interviewee’s passion.

The Anamorphic Look (The Dreamy Look)

Anamorphic lenses have been use in many high end productions. They give us a very unique look that will differentiate us from others. These lenses can be very expensive to buy, which in most cases they are rented. By using these lenses it will add so much production value to the film.

The Budget

In order to make this look like a high production film. We will need to hire a crew and rent equipment such as lenses and lightning gear. This project can be very expensive but I’m willing to work some things out !

• - 1 Camera Operator/Assistant - $600 w/2nd camera and assistance

• - 1 Gaffer (Lighting Technician) - $600 w/lots of lights to make beautiful visuals

• - Rentals - $400 - Anamorphic Lens Set and Support system for camera
